Commemorative badge of the Lithuanian-Belarusian Front with miniature. It is also referred to as the mark of the Forces of the Lithuanian-Belarusian Front.
It was established by Gen. Stanislav Sheptytsky in April 1920 and approved by the Minister of Military Affairs on December 13, 1921. It was awarded to all officers and soldiers who participated in the fighting against the Bolsheviks on the Lithuanian-Belarusian Front for at least six months, between May 15, 1919 and March 23, 1920. To this time of service was added the period of hospitalization due to wounds or diseases acquired at the front. The required time interval could be exceptionally shortened for those soldiers who distinguished themselves with outstanding combat or organizational deeds.
The badge began to be awarded after March 1920 and continued until 1924. The total number of its awards is not known.
The badge is large, two-piece, silver-plated tombak, enamel.
The designer of the badge was probably Plut. Witold Bartkowski.
Contractor undetermined. These badges were made by P. Gorzuchowski, Jan Knedler and Kazimierz Gajewski, among others. Some attribute the production of these badges to B. Paszkowski.
