It was established on January 7, 1929 and approved with regulations by the Minister of Military Affairs on March 18, 1929.
Officer's version of the badge, two-piece, silver and gold plated tombak, enamel.
Made by Józef Trębacz - Cracow.
Pre-war cap consistent with the maker of the badge.

The badge comes with a green cloth backing, good plus condition - minor enamel losses and gilt rubbing on the obverse and secondary soldering of the post and damage to the badge surface on the reverse.
