The set consists of four print test of banknotes for the island of Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles - issue of 5, 10 and 25 Gulden 1943. These prints were made at the American Bank Note Company in New York. Each element has a number and information on which denomination it will be used. The set includes a vignette with the image of a woman with a flag sitting under a palm tree by the sea. This representation was incorporated into the left side of the obverse of the 5, 10 and 25 Gulden of the 1943 issue. Also on each of the denominations we will find the coat of arms of the Netherlands - a test print of which is also included in this set. In addition on the obverse of each denomination designers from the American Bank Note Company provided a narrow field topped with a decorative arch in which the city view.
