Diameter 20 mm, weight 3.77 g

Marius, also called Marnurius and Vecturius, was a blacksmith by profession, after joining the Roman army he was promoted to the position of general. After the death of Postumus and with the help of Gallic legions, he proclaimed himself emperor (c. 267-268 CE). He was a brave and active man, with the strength he had in his hands and fingers. His gold coins are extremely rare. Brown and silver antoninates are much less, although they are not popular either.
