Rare occasional issue in bronze of Otacilla, wife of Philip I Arab, belonging to the series commemorating the so called The Age Games (Ludi Saeculares), i.e. celebrations every 110 years, which in Rome were considered the longest period of a person's life, so that no one could participate in them twice. In 248 the Games had a special course, as this year was the 1000th anniversary of Rome.
