The first issue of the famous coin with the Mother of God, Walery Amrogowicz, a collector and numismatist from Sopot, who minted 2 and 5 zloty coins in 1928. The author of the stamps for these coins was a high-class German medalist, Karl Goetz.

According to records, they were most likely made in an edition of only 10 pieces, which was written, among others, by Tadeusz Kałkowski: "... it was established that there were no more than ten 2-zloty and 5-zloty sets. Today they are located in important private collections and are no longer heard of on the collector's market."
