A very rare medal by J.F. Holzhauesser presented by General Jordan to the King's brother, Prince Kazimierz Poniatowski, on his name day. Edward Raczynski put it this way, "This medal, at the request of General Jordan, minted at the Warsaw mint, was offered by him to Prince Kazimierz Poniatowski, chamberlain to the Grand Chamberlain of the Crown, head of the Horse Guards, the eldest brother of Stanislaw August, King of Poland."
An item practically not found on the auction market.
Minor surface defect on the reverse due to breakage of several letters.
