Rare coin, minted for the recovery from the Parthians of the legion's eagles and standards that were lost in 53 BC by Crassus troops at the Battle of Carrhae.

Weaker condition and a soldered buttonhole, although the coin is worth including in the collection due to its rarity.

Reverse: round shield inscribed CL[•]V, aquila and signum flanking, SIGNIS above, RECEPTIS below, SPQR around
