Emisja wyróżniająca się napisem PRÓBA umieszczonym nisko, zamiast u góry, nad wieńcem.

W katalogu Janusza Parchimowicza "Polskie monety próbne 1949-1990" tylko jeden z ośmiu wariantów napisowych miał napis nisko.
