A beautifully preserved destruct in mint condition.
Destrukt described as "clashed dies" by NGC. This is a destrukt that is created by the collision of the obverse and reverse stamps, without a disc separating them. As a result of the collision, the drawing of one of the stamps is transferred to the other, which is consequently highlighted on discs beaten with the pair of stamps that suffered the described collision.
In the presented case, this is particularly well visible in the area of the inscription "GROSZY", where the upper outlines of the eagle's feathers transferred from the reverse stamp to the obverse stamp can be seen in the background.
A select piece with the second highest note in the NGC register.
Rare vintage, interesting destruct and excellent state of preservation.
An uncommon coin.
