Uniface Danzig municipal token from 1576, the so-called animal token.
Variety with accounting marks on the reverse, in the form of four seven-petal rosettes and one three-leaf clover. Seven-petal rosettes denote a specific sum of money, each flower most likely symbolized one week of work on the ramparts.
