Very rare type of issue minted to commemorate the office of Vicar, or governor of the Holy Roman Empire, following the death of Emperor Joseph I in April 1711.
Ducat struck most likely in the mint in Leipzig definitely differing in iconography from the second type, where two altars with royal insignia were presented on the reverse.
