The study is a kind of guide to the joint-stock companies of Upper Silesia and Cieszyn Silesia from the mid-19th century, when the first ones were established, until 1945, when the last ones were liquidated.
The catalog is divided alphabetically by company name. It includes information on the date of the company's establishment, place of registration and seat, share capital, history of the company and names of people who significantly influenced the company or formed its board.
