Original edition with complete plates.
A true classic in the subject of the literature of Polish medieval coins. In this work a wide range of general knowledge was switched, and the material developed was extensive. Therefore, despite the fact that a lot of information is already outdated this publication is still needed.
The work is an inventory of numismatic relics from the 10th and 11th centuries, starting with Mieszko I and ending with Vladislav Herman. The author examined 40 collections for this purpose.
The coins shown on the plates were made by making graphite impressions.
Subsequent volumes have never appeared in print.
