Fractional shares were issued because the conversion of Polish marks into zlotys after Grabski's reform did not allow the issuance of shares in a 1:1 ratio. The presented "Gródek" share is an example. The issuer was a company operating two hydroelectric power plants on the River Wda, and later also a power plant in Gdynia.
