The State Road Fund (PFD) was established by the Law of February 3, 1931. It was to provide funds for the construction and maintenance of public roads. The PFD was fueled by proceeds from tolls on passenger vehicles, certain horse-drawn vehicles, fines for violating traffic regulations, and fees for advertisements placed along public roads.
All of the State Road Fund's scrip is classified as rare securities.
