A rare commemorative badge of the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment of the Legions from Zamosc.
It was established in 1928 and approved along with the regulations by the Minister of Military Affairs on October 9, 1928.
The badge is an officer's version, three-piece, silver-plated tombak, enamel.
The maker of these badges, as stated in the literature, was Adam Nagalski, Stanislaw Lipczynski and Wiktor Gontarczyk - Warsaw.
Pre-war cap not consistent with the maker of the badge (J. Michrowski - Warsaw).
Dimensions 44 x 44 mm (maker of this size badge A. Nagalski).
Badge with light patina, unidentified numeral XII on reverse, good plus condition - minor damage to enamel and light rubbing of eagles, and visible scratches on reverse - badge little used.
