Badge of the Border Protection Corps "For Border Service " - pattern II.

It was approved by the Minister of Internal Affairs on October 31, 1928. Despite reservations about the design of the badge, the Minister of Military Affairs approved it on January 18, 1929.

Two-piece badge, sterling silver (confirmed on the reverse with an emblem and a small feature), enamel.

Made by Stanislaw Reising - Warsaw.

The pre-war cap is consistent with the maker of the badge, which is further confirmed on the reverse with the SR namesake.
